UPS
Brown tails after dark. Since 1988, UPS Airlines has flown its own airplanes through the Worldport sort in Louisville every night — 727s and DC-8s first, the biggest freighters in the world now.

Brown tails after dark
UPS had shipped parcels by air since 1929 but only flew its own airplanes from 1988, when UPS Airlines took over the contract fleet and built the Worldport sort in Louisville that runs every night. Our UPS designs draw on the early years of the airline rather than today's fleet — the brown-and-gold marks crews wore on the 727s and DC-8s.
