Everything on the board for Piedmont Airlines
The airline that built Charlotte
Piedmont started as a local-service carrier in the Blue Ridge and turned Charlotte into a hub big enough to matter, running Pacemaker 737s up and down the East Coast and eventually across the Atlantic. USAir completed the merger on 5 August 1989. Our Piedmont designs draw on the Pacemaker years — the marks crews wore from Winston-Salem to London.
