Aloha Airlines
Sixty years between the islands. From 1946 to 2008, Aloha flew its orange-and-yellow Funbird 737s between Honolulu, Kahului and Kona, from a war-surplus DC-3 to the last passenger flight.

Sixty years between the islands
Aloha started in 1946 as Trans-Pacific Airlines with a war-surplus DC-3, took on Hawaiian for the inter-island runs and flew its orange-and-yellow Funbird 737s between the islands for four decades. Its last passenger flight landed on 31 March 2008. Our Aloha designs draw on the Funbird years — the marks crews wore on the hops between Honolulu, Kahului and Kona.
